The PADL player-to-pro roadmap

Every court is a tryout.
Every match builds your case.

You do not need an agent, a college sports résumé or an invitation to start building your record. Lace up, compete and let verified performance speak. A chance to rise—not a promise of selection.

  1. Step 01

    Start your PADL record

Join at Rookie level and secure your NFT Tour Card. Your verified athlete profile and PADL Performance Index (PPI) give your game a record that scouts can follow.

  2. Step 02

    Play. Earn. Rise.

Log peer-verified competitive matches at your local club. Build your PPI through real results and earn PADL match rewards on eligible matches, subject to tier multipliers and integrity limits. Your verified performance feeds regional qualification—not an entry-fee shortcut.

  3. Step 03

    Reach the championship stage

Qualifying regional performers advance toward the PADL Tour Championship. The PADL Tour Championship is separate from professional league competition and serves as a scouting gateway: a stage for league scouts, franchise leadership and coaches to evaluate athletes for the PPC draft.

  4. Step 04

Earn your shot at the PPC draft

Standout championship performers may progress to the combine and draft. Draft candidates must be PADL members with a verified PPI record. Selected athletes join professional city rosters under player contracts. Pro, Legends and Academy are all professional divisions; Developmental is the same team’s semi-pro minor-league and practice squad within PPC, training players for call-up to professional competition.

One verified standard / PADL Performance Index

Your PPI is the connection.

Local play builds the record. Regional qualification earns the next stage. Championship performance puts you in the scouting conversation. The draft connects that performance to the PADL Pro Circuit.

Championship eligibility requires Rookie or Tour membership and an NFT Tour Card with verified results. Membership is not a tournament entry fee. Facility court charges may still apply. Rewards have daily, weekly and same-opponent limits; disputed matches earn no rewards. Qualification, scouting invitations and professional contracts are not guaranteed.

01 / Players

A real team roster

Each city franchise fields 24 contracted players across three divisions — Pro, Legends and Academy — with eight players per division forming four doubles teams, supported by a coach. The same city team also includes its semi-pro Developmental practice squad, where players train and compete for call-up to professional competition.

02 / Players

Contracted competition

Professional player contracts include seasonal pay and performance incentives, with compensation and contract duration set out in each athlete’s agreement.

03 / Players

Support beyond the court

Contracted athletes receive major medical coverage and travel and lodging support under their player agreements.

04 / Players

More ways to contribute

Clinics, appearances and team activations give athletes a role in growing their local fan community. Additional earnings depend on agreements and participation, not guaranteed income.
