Franchise Governor is reserved today with a fully refundable $100 deposit; the remaining $400 is due 60 days before your city’s owner is named. Final benefits and ballot rules will be published before launch.

All four fan levels qualify to vote on their city’s team name, logo and mascot. Other ballots depend on the level’s eligible scope. These are league fan memberships, separate from PADL player memberships. Final eligibility, ballot rules and benefits will be published before launch. Voting is not open yet.

Franchise Governor / Level 04

Your first season. Every game.

The $500 level is reserved today with a fully refundable $100 deposit, because your city’s owner hasn’t been chosen yet. The remaining $400 is due 60 days before the owner is named—we’ll send you a secure payment link—and your Governor card and 50× voting weight start once it’s paid. It includes first-year season tickets for all games, with discounted ticket rates in later years—not an annual $500 charge. Seating, access and future discount details will be confirmed before launch.

The ultimate fantasy ownership experience

Ownership groups must
win your vote.

Not just deep pockets. A plan your community believes in.

  1. 01

    The fans come together

Fans build the community and help shape team names, mascot names and the founding identity before an owner is selected.

  2. 02

    Owners make their case

Prospective owners submit their background, vision and community-development plans for review. Youth training, stadium accessibility and local sport support are part of the conversation.

  3. 03

    VIP members have their say

Major decisions go to eligible VIP members, with voting scope and weight based on membership level. Franchise Governors review ownership proposals and take part in final-stage fan approval.

What does 1×, 5×, 15× or 50× voting weight mean?

Voting weight is how much your vote counts in a ballot your fan level is allowed to join. Rookie Fan has 1 point, Pro Supporter 5, Championship VIP 15 and Franchise Governor 50. For example, a Pro Supporter vote counts as five Rookie Fan votes on the same eligible ballot. A higher weight does not give access to every ballot, and voting is not open yet. A Governor deposit reserves a spot only; it gives no Governor card or 50× weight until the balance is paid.

Can I upgrade my fan card, and when does the higher voting weight begin?

You can move to a higher level, never a lower one, and pay the difference between the two level prices rather than buying a second card. The same card is updated, and the higher voting weight starts with the next ballot, not during a vote already underway. Moving to Governor first requires a refundable $100 reservation deposit; the remaining upgrade balance is collected later by payment link. Governor benefits do not start until that balance is paid.

Can I reserve a Franchise Governor spot now?

Yes. A fully refundable $100 deposit holds your Franchise Governor spot for your city. The remaining $400 is due 60 days before the owner is named — we send you a secure payment link, nothing is charged automatically. Your Governor card and 50× voting weight begin once the balance is paid. Want out before then? Ask for a full refund of your deposit.

Can every fan level choose the team name, logo and mascot?

Yes. Rookie Fan, Pro Supporter, Championship VIP and fully paid Franchise Governor can all join the identity ballot for the city on their fan card, with weights of 1×, 5×, 15× and 50× respectively. A Governor deposit alone does not activate a card or voting rights. Official voting is not open yet.

What will VIP members decide?

The program includes team identity, matchday choices, community initiatives, eligible league decisions and ownership review. Your level determines which ballots you can join and their voting weight. Final ballot and approval rules will be announced before voting opens.

Does a VIP NFT mean I own the franchise?

No. It is a lifetime fan membership credential with voting and access benefits, not equity, a profit share or ownership of the team. Fan approval is part of the owner-selection process; formal franchise appointments remain subject to league review and agreements.

How the league works

One season. One champion.

The PADL Pro Circuit competition format: a structured season, city franchises, and a playoff run to crown the league champion.

01

The season

A 14-week regular season, with city franchises competing across the American and National Conferences.

02

The teams

Twelve inaugural city franchises, each with 24 professional players: eight in Pro (19+), eight in Legends (50+) and eight in Academy (16–18). Each division fields four doubles teams, supported by the same franchise’s Developmental practice squad.

03

The structure

Two conferences — American and National — with six city franchises each. Pro, Legends and Academy are professional roster divisions; Developmental (14–15) is each team’s semi-pro minor-league and practice squad within PPC. These players train as part of the same franchise and can be called up to professional competition.

04

The championship

Top teams advance through conference playoffs to the PADL Pro Circuit championship. This professional league competition is separate from the PADL Tour Championship.

Competition details, eligibility and the full rulebook will be published before the inaugural season. Player eligibility is governed by the PADL rating system.

The league structure

Two conferences. One national stage.

PADL Pro Circuit is the governing league hub. The American and National conferences bring twelve inaugural cities together, with six cities in each conference.
