Does PADL Chat® send ordinary text messages to my phone?
No. PADL Chat® keeps conversations inside your PADL account rather than sending SMS text messages to a phone number. You read and reply to those messages in the PADL app.
Can someone I chat with see my phone number or email address?
No. PADL Chat® does not show your phone number or email address to the person you are messaging. You can arrange a match through PADL without sharing those contact details.
Who can I message?
You can message other PADL members who allow chat, provided your membership includes messaging access. Both people need a PADL account; PADL Chat® does not send messages to people outside the app. A member’s privacy settings and any blocks still apply.
